Roman times

Last week we went to Tarragona, to the "Camp de Mart" to play like the Romans did. We watched a show about gladiators and slaves and we played different games. All of them were traditional games from the Ancient Rome. In the Pluri class we learnt about different cultures and n this school trip we learnt about ancient cultures too. We had fun and they gave us a badge when we finished the games.

Our parents come to the Pluri class

Marta, Claudio, Annabell and Natalie came to our Pluri class to talk about their countries: Colonbia, Argentina, Germany and Belgium. We learnt a lot about their culture, celebrations, geography, music, food, education... With Annabell and Natalie we learnt some words in German and French, too. We love these lesson and we had a very nice time with them. Thank you very much!

Unique buildings in the world

In the Art class we have made a project about unique buidings in the world. We watched some videos and Power Point Presentations about them. We had to find out some information about our favourite one. These are some of our projects.

School trip to Poblet

IMG_4496       IMG_4472 IMG_4473          IMG_4471

How do plants reproduce?

6th level We have studied the plants reproduction in the Plurilingual class. First we talked about the new “Pluri” logo and then we learnt the parts of a plant and the parts of a flower. It was not difficult because they are very similar to Catalan. We watched a Power Point Presentation and a video about it and we played an interactive game about pollination. We watched a very scary video about carnivorous plants, too. Poor insects! In the Art class we made a flower using different kind of materials and we matched the parts in English. We are going to make an exhibition with all our works. Copy of IMG_4338 Copy of IMG_4340 Copy of IMG_4341 Copy of IMG_4397 Copy of IMG_4398 Copy of IMG_4399 Copy of IMG_4400
